Arborists from Eversource Energy Vegetation Management group will be handing out tree seedlings and discussing Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) and all things trees. The discussion will focus on trees and power lines, highlighting the most appropriate species for planting under or around them. An informational "Plan Before You Plant" brochure is available as well as a “Planting Guide”.

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Arbor Day Foundation and the 150th anniversary of the tree planting holiday.
