Members of the Cape Cod Commission will be talking to patrons about digital equity as part of a community pop-up event.

The Town of Sandwich is developing a digital equity plan with the Cape Cod Commission to understand challenges that our community faces in accessing technology and the internet and to identify solutions that will help bridge the gaps. Community participation is a central part of this process - the town needs to hear from residents about their experiences with the internet, technology and devices, and digital skills.

Come share your ideas at our Digital Equity Pop-up this Friday, November 17th from 10:00am-12:00pm in our library lobby.

Then be sure to mark your calendar on December 6th at 5:30pm to go to the Center for Active Living on Quaker Meetinghouse Road for a Digital Equity Workshop. Community members will learn more about the digital equity plan and will participate in group discussions about internet availability, reliability, and affordability; technology and devices; and skills needed to make the most of our increasingly digital world.
