In partnership with the American Library Association, we will be celebrating National Library Card Sign-up Month throughout the month of September. See ALA website for details HERE. This annual campaign encourages the public to sign up for a new Library card. We're inviting everyone to discover the incredible resources and opportunities available at your local library.
Adults age 18 and over can obtain a library card by presenting a form of identification (valid driver’s license or ID). Children age 6 and up are eligible to get a library card with a parent or guardian present. Patrons who have self-registered for an “e-Card” are encouraged to come to the library to receive a physical card. New card registrants will receive a small welcome gift during the month-long campaign, courtesy of the Friends of the Sandwich Public Library, while supplies last.
Don’t miss out! Be sure to visit us during the month of September to sign up for YOUR new library card and discover all that the library has to offer!
