If you've ever wondered what it takes to become a Beekeeper, wonder no longer! We're excited to have expert Beekeeper, Bob Savage tell us all you've ever wanted to know about Beekeeping, but were afraid to ask!

ABOUT THE PRESENTATION: Bob Savage will do a presentation about bees and provide the audience with an introduction on how to get started with beekeeping. Beekeeping equipment including a bee jacket, hive tool, and a small complete beehive known as a nuke will be on display, and there will be demonstrations on how to use them. There WILL NOT be live bees used during this event.

ABOUT THE PRESENTOR: Bob Savage has been a 20+ year "wash-ashore" to Cape Cod (originally from Milton, MA). He is a retired high school teacher from the Plymouth School system. Bob has been beekeeping for appx. 12 years. He currently mentors four new beekeepers and sends a weekly text message to others beekeepers on the topic of beekeeping management. He is an avid gardener and keeps organic fruit and vegetable gardens.
