CALLING ALL BAKERS (or anyone who likes to eat!)
Mark your calendars to attend our King Arthur Flour Cookbook Roundtable event with PJ Hamel, baker and award-winning author.
ABOUT THE PRESENTATION: The holidays are coming, and it’s time to polish your baking skills — particularly around pies, rolls, cakes, and cookies. In partnership with Titcomb's Bookshop, this participatory program will focus on common baking challenges and how to solve them: like what’s the best way to bake dinner rolls ahead of time, how to fit homemade pie into your Thanksgiving schedule (and what to do when you can’t) — and why the heck does my cheesecake always crack? The program can’t run without YOUR participation, so be ready to raise your hand and ask your most perplexing questions!!
As part of the registration process, you will be prompted to ask your most pressing baking question prior to the event. PJ will answer as many of them as she can during the event. Please call the Library at 508-888-0625 with any questions.
Copies of the latest King Arthur Flour Cookbook will be available for purchase during the event - Just in time for the holidays!
ABOUT THE PRESENTOR: PJ Hamel is a baker and award-winning writer, author, and photographer who’s spent the past 34 years with King Arthur Baking, where she currently blogs and writes articles for the company’s online education program. She takes great satisfaction in helping bakers of all levels bake their best, as well as offering them new and different ways to pursue their passion. She’s especially interested in reuniting bakers with lost recipes from the past — and in using AI to do so!
