This exciting monthly series provides children ages Pre-K through 3rd grade the opportunity to learn a new science concept

while enjoying a children's story linked to a simple hands on science activity.

Patricia McKean, a former science teacher and current Board member of the Friends,

hosts this educational and engaging series  to smoothly integrate physical and life science concepts with children's literature.

This month's story is

 "Curious George" by H. A. Rey

and the activity deals with the concept of Center of Gravity.
