Science Saturdays with Miss Pat

This exciting monthly series provides children ages Pre-K through 3rd grade the opportunity to learn a new science concept while enjoying a children's story linked to a simple hands on science activity.

Patricia McKean, a former science teacher and current Board member of the Friends, hosts this educational and engaging series to smoothly integrate physical and life science concepts with children's literature.

"Why Can't I Fly?" by Ken Brown will be read by Miss Judy followed by the activity: Bernoulli’s Principle (Fluid Dynamics) with Miss Pat. Children will construct a loop airplane using provided materials.

Masks are required for all indoor Children's Programs.
