We’re approaching storm-season on Cape— are you ready? 

The winter of 2021-2022 included a hurricane, Nor’easter, a blizzard and a tornado, resulting in power outages for many in our community. William A. (Chip) Reilly III, Emergency Preparedness Specialist for Barnstable County, will share best practices for preparing for storms and floods this upcoming fall and winter. In his workshop, you will learn:

⠀- How to build an emergency kit

   - Emergency Preparedness for Individuals with Disabilities and Access and Functional Needs

   - Safety tips for sheltering in place

   - How to support your family and neighbors before, during, and after a storm

This program is FREE and open to the public. All are welcome and caregivers of others are encouraged to attend. Registration is requested.
